The students Union Government Electronic Elections for 2023/2024 Academic Session has been fixed for Monday December 4, 2023. A statement issued by the Dean, Students’ Affairs Unit Dr. Philemon W. Iyagba enjoins students to effectively participate in choosing their leaders as they vote from the comfort of their homes with their smart phones and laptops.
November 24th, 27th, 28th and 29th according to the statement has been slated for Departmental Elections while Faculty Elections is to hold from Thursday November 30th to Friday 1st December, 2023.
Departments and Faculties are advised by the Dean to adhere strictly to the electoral guidelines and time table as stipulated by the Students’Affairs Unit to ensure a hitch free election.
The statement further states that a mock election will hold on Wednesday November 22, 2023 at the ICT centre to demonstrate the process. All elections would be electronic based.
